7 year old gelding that can get high strung and reactive on the barrel pattern, best suited for a confident, experienced rider. Creed is very broke with all the buttons. He has the talent to be a true 1D caliber horse. He is a freak of nature athletic and fast. On the barrel pattern his mind tends to stay busy, so he needs a patient rider to help him focus. He is not dangerous, just very sensitive and requires someone who understands how to manage that level of horse. He is versatile and would also make a great breakaway or heeling prospect. Creed has been hauled to several arenas and nothing phases him. He rides the same everywhere, will go next to moving cars, skid steers, and excavators, and has excellent manners. He trail rides up and down hills, through rivers, pastures, dirt roads, anywhere you want. Hauls great, bathes, stands well for the farrier and vet, catches easily, loads easily, ties quietly all day, and has no buddy sour issues. He is personable, loves attention, and is UTD on all care. He has had thorough vet and chiropractic work and is sound. As a young horse he was used for ranch work, moving cattle, and roping.
We purchased him at six last fall with two weeks on the pattern. After time off during my pregnancy, he did a lot of slow work this spring followed by two months with a professional trainer. He is for sale because after a serious wreck on a different horse I am rebuilding my confidence. Creed needs a rider he can gain confidence from, and in the right hands he will shine.
