Quickie for Cash barn name Quickie is by Lesters Live Wire which goes back to Secretariat. The pedigree is for speed and Quickie has lots of it. Quickie is eligible for lots of incentives but paid into Ruby Buckle and Top Shelf Breeder . Quickie is 4 years old and because of his age, has limited hauling. His barrel race style will match most riders as his turns are round and honest. He isn't being asked for full speed and cruising in the 2D against known 1D horses and arena record setters. There is no doubt he will finish out a 1D barrel horse with the proper seasoning because he has the speed and he has the turn. He also has clocked bottom 1D cruising the pattern.
Quickie had a full set of clean x-rays done in August including his spine and those x-rays are available to any serious buyer. Although I let my oldest daughter ride and race him, I am not selling him as youth suitable or beginner horse. He is 4 and needs finished and seasoned. We would like to see him go to a confident rider that is knowledgeable on seasoning young horses and experience with riding & training is a must. No doubt he would be perfect for a youth trying him out, but over time he would 100% come apart. We want to see Quickie succeed and that is why we are going to be picky on an experienced rider with training experience and seasoning horses. If he doesn't sell because of this, then we will keep him.
He is only being sold because my oldest daughter is joining the Military. He was her project training and seasoning & he is too nice to sit. I have played around on him a bit but don't have the time to season horses.
