As much as it breaks my heart, I’ve made the tough decision to part with this incredible mare. She just doesn’t suit my riding style, and I can’t justify keeping her if she’s not being actively campaigned.
This 17-year-old mare is as solid and dependable as they come. She’s been running consistently in the 2D/3D locally for the past year, and was previously with a cow horse trainer for two years. She’s quick, gritty, cowy, and gives 110% every time you point her in a direction. She’s the kind of horse who will always try her heart out.
✔ Extremely versatile – used in 4H, cross-country, trails, bareback, you name it

She’s the typical alpha mare in the pasture, but respectful and easy to manage. She never shows when in heat and has zero bad habits under saddle — no buck, rear, bite, or kick. Her only vice is that she can get a little hot — prances and tosses her head a bit — but nothing dangerous. She’s not hot in the alley. Lightly patterned on poles with potential to make a super fast pole horse.
🧬 She also has excellent breeding and would be a fantastic broodmare candidate when she’s done running.
I’ll be very selective about where she goes. She deserves a rider who can match her heart and drive.
