Training Spots Available

Currently taking horses for training or sale fitting.

I have training spots available October- December.

I offer barrel training, colt starting, tune ups, horses with issues, halter breaking, trailer loading, or if you just need miles put on one. I also do training for ponies of any size, pony training prices are different. I also do sale fitting upon request.

Horses must have a negative coggins. Horses will be rinsed daily and given bath once per week (grooming included). Farrier and vet available.

Feeding: horses will be fed grass hay. Alfalfa hay can be fed at an extra charge. All horses are to have feed provided by owner. Nutrition will be taken into account when starting said horse and tweaks to feeding will be passed through owner first.

Horses in training will be rode/ worked 5 days a week. If weather conditions cause me not to be able to ride or work your horse for 3 days or more then these days will be added to the end of the 30 days.

My training methods consist of desensitizing, a lot of groundwork, ground driving, and basic fundamentals. Gentle handle and touch. If you want someone to just get on your horse and spur them out of whatever they are doing then I am not the trainer for the job.

Horses will be hauled as well to get use to the sites and sounds of horse shows.

Rates depend on what you need done and the horse. Please do not contact me, say that you will bring the horse and I never hear back from you, you are wasting my time. Pickup is charged per mile. 1/2 of first months training fee is required up front. You will be required to sign a training contract before you drop your horse off for training.

Training rates:
Colt starting- $850/ 30 days with a minimum of 90 days
Performance Training- $850/ 30 days
Restarting- $850/ 30 days (Price may be higher for horse's with more severe issues.)
